Welcome to the new GSM in Mongolia blog! This blog will allow me to easily share what's going on at the heart of GSM. On the right side of this blog, I have added various ways of contacting me. I have also added a "Praise & Prayers" section along with a "Mission & Goals" picture representing the heart of GSM in Mongolia.

(1) May - Seminar on Biblical Financial Management  
Christian perspective on personal finance reaching young professionals. Around 120 expected to attend this three evening seminar.


(2) May - Conference for Pastors & Pastor Wives 
Priority of family in Christian ministry. Two full days of fellowship and encouragement with two special speakers.

(3) June - Wilderness Journey, "The Crossing" 
Beginning June 7th, those participating in "The Crossing" will spend one week in Terelj National Park studying Israel’s wilderness crossing and easing into the saddle. The second week we will cross the Mongolian wilderness from Hinti on horseback applying Israel's journey-of-faith to our own life. Hinti is the birthplace of Chingis (a.k.a, Genghis) Khan founder of the Mongol Empire, the largest empire in world history. The Crossing follows Israel's salvation and exodus from Egypt, their transformation in the wilderness, and their faith passage into the promise of God. Join this journey of a lifetime, "The Crossing." Interested persons should contact David@GSMMongolia.com. The cost for this Wilderness Journey "The Crossing" is estimated at $5,300 per person including air travel and all expenses related to the the journey. 100% of profits will be used for GSM's ministry in Mongolia.

(4) September - Seminar on Biblical Marriage and Family
Christian perspective on marriage and family reaching young professionals. Around 150 expected to participate in this five evening seminar.

(5) October -  Training Workshop for Sunday School Teachers
Sunday school teacher training for Mongolian Evangelical Alliance churches nationwide. Details for this workshop will be provided later.

GSM's mentorship model based on the "Leadership Revolution"
Last summer, I visited the Lawndale Community Church in Chicago with Pastor Wayne Gordon as part of my doctoral program. In his book titled "Leadership Revolution" he explains the model of mentoring community leaders that attempts to follow that of Christ and his twelve apostles. Wayne's motto is "Love God and love your community as yourself." This year I will lead the GSM Mongolian young professional leadership team as we prayerfully explore how this model might work in Mongolia. We would like to have the team visit the Chicago program to witness first hand the ministry model in action and be inspired as to how the ministry model could work in Mongolia.
